A Slice of Italy in the Heart of Melbourne
The inspiration behind Romanello’s new interior design was to bring a slice of Italy to the heart of Melbourne.
The design palette is anchored by a vibrant bright red, chosen to echo Italy’s traditional heritage with a modern twist, complemented by the distinctive use of red grout. To infuse a touch of elegance and sophistication, accents of aged brass were thoughtfully integrated throughout the space.
The walls are adorned with a limewash finish, while the floors boast bluestone paving, both selected to add rich texture and pay homage to the rustic charm of old-world Italy
The design includes an open and visible workspace to allow patrons to witness the artistry in action. While strategically placed feature lighting adorn the front windows, creating an inviting beacon that draws people into the warmth of Italian hospitality.
